Myself with my great friend Peter Esposito in the early 1980's. In his basement is where I started
taking my painting seriously, after he introduced me to abstract artist Louis Schanker.
With sculptor William Tarr, outside his studio in Springs, East Hampton
in 1980. I was his assistant for several years and he became my
mentor and lifelong friend.

Larry Zox was a great influence on me. We met in East Hampton and I will never forget
the special occasions we had in his studio in NYC. Truly missed!
Tom Koether and I met in 1986 after he was returning from living in Australia.
We started showing together and continued showing together for many years.
We had a great friendship that included many wild adventures.

Tim Lee was a great supporter of my work. After I asked for a photograph of my work,he helped me by photographing most of the body of my work. This turned out to be priceless to me. A true fixture of Springs, East Hampton. I will always miss him even though I know he is in a good space!
